Connect to Microsoft 365 Contacts
View settings
Select the Settings tab to view the YakChatx settings.
Turn on Microsoft 365 contacts
Select Office 365 Integration and use the toggle switches to turn on the connection to Outlook Contacts and Directory (AD).
This may require additional consent from your Administrator to allow access.
Outlook Contacts
View Outlook contacts
In the Messages tab, use the drop down list to select Outlook Contacts and display all your contacts in Outlook.
Send a text to an Outlook contact
Select an Outlook contact and right-click to display the Action menu.
Select the menu option Send Message to send a text.
The Messages tab will be displayed and contain the conversation for that contact.
Text multiple Outlook contacts
To send a text to multiple Outlook contacts, press the Ctrl key on your keyboard and use your mouse to select each contact until all the contacts you want are highlighted.
Right-click on any one of the highlighted contacts to display the Action menu.
Directory (AD) Contacts
View Directory (AD) contacts
In the Messages tab, use the drop down list to select User AD and display all your contacts in Outlook.
Send a text to a Directory contact
Select a contact from the Directory and right-click to display the Action menu.
Select the menu option Send Message to send a text.
The Messages tab will be displayed and contain the conversation for that contact.
Text multiple Directory contacts
To send a text to multiple Directory contacts, press the Ctrl key on your keyboard and use your mouse to select each contact until all the contacts you want are highlighted.
Right-click on any one of the highlighted contacts to display the Action menu.
Outlook Groups
View Outlook groups
In the Contacts tab, use the drop down list to select Outlook Groups to display all the Groups that you are a member of.
Send a text to an Outlook group
Select an Outlook contact and right-click to display the Action menu.
Select the menu option Send Message to send a text.
The Messages tab will be displayed and contain the conversation for that contact.
Text multiple Outlook groups
To send a text to multiple Groups, press the Ctrl key on your keyboard and use your mouse to select each Group until all the Groups you want are highlighted.
Right-click on any one of the highlighted contacts to display the Action menu.
